= ⚡ Recommended (enabled by default) =

**Transliteration**
* Converts Cyrillic post/page slugs to Latin automatically on save
* Optional 301 redirect from old Cyrillic URLs to new Latin URLs — perfect for existing sites

**Clean <head>**
* Removes generator, wlwmanifest, RSD meta tags
* Disables WordPress emoji scripts (saves one HTTP request per page)
* Disables oEmbed discovery links

**Performance**
* Reduces Heartbeat API frequency from 15s to 60s
* Minifies HTML output — safe, does not touch JS or CSS
* Adds lazy loading to all images automatically

**Security**
* Hides WordPress version from HTML, scripts and styles
* Disables /author/username/ pages that expose admin logins
* Shows a generic message on failed login (prevents username enumeration)

= 🔧 Additional (disabled by default) =

**Editor & Widgets**
* Disable Gutenberg and use Classic Editor — works with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery
* Remove unused default WordPress widgets from the widget panel

**Updates**
* Control which components auto-update: core, plugins, themes

**Comments**
* Disable comments site-wide for all post types

= Why Clearfy Safe? =

* Every option is independent — enable only what you need
* No JS/CSS minification that breaks themes
* No REST API blocking that breaks WooCommerce
* Tested with popular themes: Astra, GeneratePress, Divi, OceanWP
* Tested with popular plugins: WooCommerce, Elementor, WPML, Yoast SEO

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Will this conflict with my caching plugin? =
No. Clearfy Safe does not touch caching. It works alongside WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache and others.

= Is it safe to enable transliteration on an existing site? =
Yes, if you also enable the 301 redirect option. Old Cyrillic URLs will automatically redirect to the new Latin ones.

= Can I use this with Elementor or Divi? =
Yes. All options are safe for page builders. The Gutenberg disable option specifically keeps Elementor and Divi working normally.

= Does this work with WooCommerce? =
Yes. None of the options affect WooCommerce functionality.
